United States Of America
Are you a Nation or a Counterpart?: Counterpart~
Your Name: Amelia F. Jones
Your Nationality: An All American Girl!
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Physical Description:
Amelia is a sturdy young woman, unafraid to show off any skin. Tall and lean for the most part, she stands at about five feet and eight inches, making her quite tall for a girl. She is horribly conscious of her weight and does everything she can to keep it down, though she fails to realize that muscle actually weighs more…but it’s a constant battle regardless, with the way she eats.
She is fair skinned and has striking sky blue eyes that always show her enthusiasm for life. Short, sandy blonde hair that curls gently at the ends accentuates these features. She keeps it chin length, with bangs brushed across her forehead. Two clips on either side keep the thick tussle of hair from falling into her face with her active lifestyle. She usually sports a rosy cheeked smile and can be rarely seen frowning. She has been prone to pouting, but she easily gets over such things.
Clothing wise, she likes things that are breathable and non constricting. Loose skirts and tank tops are the way to go with this girl. Over her clothes, she can usually be seen wearing a bomber jacket. It is something that she treasures and can rarely be seen without, even in warmer weather.
Personality: Amelia is a very energetic and cheerful young woman, though at times she can seem rather conceited. Amelia has a huge hero complex and strives to do her best to save and protect people who are in trouble. But because of this, she has a hard time making friends since she tends to force her way into other people’s business. She means well of course, but she just comes off quite pushy and demanding.
Her lack of reading the atmosphere in situations probably does not help her case any, but in the past she has shown that she can read it to some extent. Whether she takes the time to actually notice it or just chooses to ignore it is debatable.
She is an active young woman, always running around playing games with children and exercising to keep in shape so that she can get stronger. She does not want to rely on anybody else to have to help her, and wants to be prepared whenever someone requests her help.
She is a self proclaimed Archaeologist, but despite her over eagerness to check out ancient places, she has one flaw that tends to put a damper on exploration… She has a rather irrational fear of ghosts. If a place is said to be haunted, Amelia will shake and jump at every single thing as she explores. Often times, the exploration ends with Amelia fleeing all together if she is alone. Never the less, Amelia’s fear is conflicting since she also is enamored with Ghost stories. So perhaps that is why she at least attempts to explore those places, even if she is quite scared of them.
Amelia tends to get lost a lot due to not being able to read maps all that well. But it does not deter her from trying. Her lack of knowledge about the outside world can be rather irritating to other people, but she remains mostly oblivious to it. Something that helps her when getting lost is her ability to eat just about anything. It doesn’t matter how horribly prepared it is, Amelia can usually stomach it. Above all else, her favorite food is, and will always be donuts! Any flavor, any time. She absolutely adores them. But it really makes her self conscious about gaining weight!

Fears:
- Ghosts – She has an irrational fear of Ghosts. She tries to convince herself that they are not real, to little effect. If something looks haunted, she thinks that it probably is. Despite the fear, she is always challenging herself to watch Ghost story shows and playing horror video games. She always ends up scared in the end though.
- Failure – She is terrified of failing. She gives her all, but she fears that it will not be good enough one day. That is something, at all costs…She wishes to avoid. So she continues to try and better herself. It’s very hit or miss, but Amelia will continue to strive for the future.
- Betrayal – She creates bonds easily enough, and is devastated when they fall through. She tries to put on a tough front and pretend like it doesn’t effect her…but it does, horribly so. Putting in that effort to make a bond, then having that bond severed is an awful thing.
Strengths:
- Strength – She is physically strong. She puts a lot of effort into training herself, though some of it is just natural strength.
- Gives her all – She is a person who is in it till the end. She will do everything she can, when she can.
- Selflessness – She will not hesitate to risk her life for another person. She might seem like the sort that is all about herself, but that is not the case at all. She does care, beyond all her conceitedness.
- Iron Stomach – She could survive eating the most disgusting of food. She has had plenty of practice, however…that doesn’t mean she enjoys it by any means.
- Loyalty – If you’re her friend, he will do everything she can to help out. It might become a little annoying at just how eager she is to help though.
Weaknesses: (5 minimum)
- Food – She quite often thinks with her stomach and can’t stand to be hungry. She will become quite whiny and annoying until she has been satisfied. After all, you’re not yourself when you’re hungry!
- Oblivious – She has issues with reading the atmosphere. Sometimes she can, but just opts to ignore it if it’s awkward and not worth dealing with. They would be none the wiser to this regardless.
- Strange Ideas – Amelia thinks a bit differently than most folk. She is horribly idealistic and will come up with solutions that would never work. It doesn’t stop her from trying to achieve big things though. One day, she knows for sure one of them can be made a reality!
- Impulsive- She is quick to jump into action. She might not think things out very well before hand though.
- Nosy – She will poke her nose where it doesn’t really belong, which can irritate people to no end.
- Easily Carried Away – She can over react to…lot’s of things. She is pretty all or nothing in her reactions to things.
- Pushy – She will push her opinions where they aren’t exactly wanted. She isn’t even aware she is doing it half the time.
Sample Post: She hated the rain. She laid out on the floor; her legs propped up on the couch and stared at the ceiling in intense boredom. Counting the little dots on the ceiling had done little to alleviate her problem. Sighing, she removed her legs from the couch and sat up. What could be done to distract herself? Cleaning was always an option, although that was also boring.
Or she could play that video game that she got from Japan! Oh, yes. That sounded like a wonderful plan! Much better than cleaning. She grinned a bit at the forgotten game and trotted over to the entertainment system. She had to dig through a pile of games before locating it. She held it up in her victory and all too happily popped it in the system.
“All right! Time to kick some—“ Everything went black. Thunder boomed and rolled, as though it was laughing at her now. She glared down at the controller, unable to see it…but the sentiments were the same whether she could see it or not. Some one clearly did not wish for her to put off doing a little bit of housework.
She carefully tossed the controller aside and carefully began to grope her way through the house, using the flashes of lightning to navigate without stubbing her toe on anything. Once she found her closet, she greedily took the flash light and turned it on, thankful for the much-needed lighting. It would have been easier to get there if the house had been clean; instead it had been like navigating through an obstacle course.
She would give into her fate though. Cleaning the house it was. She took out some more flashlights and candles and set them around to light up the room better and looked around. Where to start? She stared down at all the items that littered the floor and nodded. She would clear a path before she did anything else.
She got to work, picking up the clothing and trash that collected around the house, humming lightly to herself as she worked. The sound of thunder was her companion through out. She really hated the rain. It took away the fun of being outside, and it had even robbed her of her fun time indoors. Worse yet, was that it gave her time to slow down and think about the past.
The rain reminded her of things that she would rather forget. She wished that it had the opposite effect and would wash away those painful memories, but instead it washed over her like a flood, bringing them back to her.
The sudden flash of light temporarily blinded the girl who had paused in her cleaning duties, causing her to drop what she was holding. When they adjusted to the new brightness, she felt some relief. The storm was almost over now, and a light drizzle was all that was left.
She collected the fallen objects and placed them in their spots, then looked around at what she had accomplished in the little amount of time. Despite the memories and lack of light, she was rather proud of herself. She could continue on with anything! The past was the past…and now she was free to play her video games!
With a delighted grin, she trotted back over to the couch and treated herself to the horror game. The rest of the night, she spent huddled under a blanket and jumping at every noise.
