Silence.
That was all their was besides the sound of a dog or two walking around the house or whining when they wanted to be pet. The German reached a open hand down to pet Aster and flipped the page of the book he was reading with the other hand. Aster soon left to go pounce on Blackie and Ludwig gave a small tight lipped grin as he watched the dogs play. At first Ludwig was a bit on the edge as Aster made a run for the black dog, and when blackie almost ran into the side table, Ludwig cringed. But he held back his urge to tell his dogs to stop having fun. Italy had once said Ludwig needed to be more fun. Ludwig had nodded his head and told the Italian that he would work on it, and in all truthfulness he was trying. It was just extremely hard for one who was so up tight about..well everything.
Ludwig sighed and placed the bookmark inside the book and set it down on the table next to the red sofa and whistled softly to them, all three dogs stopped what they had been doing and ran over to Ludwig, tails wagging in anticipation. Ludwig ruffled all three of their heads and got up from the sofa. "Let's go for a walk, maybe go see Italia?" He asked as he attached the leashes to the collars and opened the door, keeping a firm hand on all three leashes as he walked out, closed and locked the door. He could feel the dog's bustling energy levels rising as he turned around and began to walk on the paved streets.
Soon there was a bench in sight, and for Ludwig he was happy to have found one. He sat down and relaxed, the dogs did need this, they had too much hyper energy and it would prevent anything from getting broken back home. But when they had this much engery, sometimes he couldn't even control how fast they walked. Aster layed down at Ludwig's feet and the country gave a small smile as Blackie laid his head on Aster's back.

Antonio was no Italy, but he had just so happened to be on a walk near Ludwig’s house. His original intention had been to visit Gilbert, perhaps invite him on an adventure, or maybe just to a bar (which could be considered an adventure if you got those two together and gave them alcohol), but it seemed that he wasn’t going to reach his destination. Along one of the cool cobblestone roads, Antonio caught sight of a familiar blond resting on a bench with his beloved dogs (he knew just how important the dogs were in the German household), seemingly taking a rest from a walk.
The Spaniard struggled with the options before him. Ludwig was probably on a walk to go see his little cousin, and had just stopped for a rest… He shouldn’t bother him. Then again, when had he and his friends ever passed up an opportunity to bother and annoy Ludwig? But that was usually under Gilbert’s influence. Alone, Antonio liked to be polite and courteous for the most part, but he was also always almost over-eager to start conversations with just about anyone. Before he could even really decide if he felt like being rude and bothering Ludwig or not, his feet did the deciding for him, and he walked over to where the male was sitting.
“¡Hola! Taking the puppies for a walk?” Antonio asked cheerfully as he approached Ludwig, his hands buried in the shallow pockets of his thin sweater. He always got looks when he wore these types of clothes in Germany, but he couldn’t help it; His body just wasn’t made for temperatures below a certain point. “Mind if I join you? I was headed to your house anyway to see if Gilbert was home, and I don’t want to walk all the way there alone.”

Ludwig heard the familiar voice of a certain Spaniard. His blue eyes looked up as he made room on the bench for the brunette. "Gilbert's not home. Sorry, Antonio. Really can't say I know where he is." Ludwig put his head back an thought. Maybe he's with Francis?" Ludwig guessed and gave a shrug. He knew his answer wasn't right, he had guessed after all. Ludwig watched as Germans gave Antonio a raised eyebrow or even talking about him as they passed. 'Ludwig noticed Spain's attire and shook his head. A sweater? Antonio...It's a bit warm for one don't you think?" He asked as he looked at his own outfit. Black tank top, and blue jeans. Italy said he needed to dress more 'causal'. Ludwig noticed the dogs were getting hot, and Ludwig was getting thirsty. "Why don't you come back to the house? Wait for East there? It'd be cooler at least." Ludwig offered. It was only polite of him to do so. The dogs seemed to pick up on Ludwig's words and they all stood up, shaking their coats. Aster sniffed Spain's hand and gave it a gentle lick. Ludwig wished Gilbert would show up at the house more often. He was hardly ever there. The country missed spending time with Prussia. Waiting to see if Spain would follow, Ludwig went and started to get up from the bench.

Antonio was disappointed to hear that Gilbert wasn’t even at Ludwig’s house. Perhaps he shouldn’t have skipped out on visiting Francis; he was probably there. He’d spent all this time travelling only to have Gilbert not be there!
At the comment about his sweater, Antonio chuckled. “Germans think that 30c is hot! Meanwhile, I like it more around 40. There’s always a breeze here, which is nice, but I don’t want to get to chilly.” He replied, shrugging. It was nice to see Ludwig in more casual clothes, though; he looked much less intimidating when he was just wearing jeans and a tank top.
One of the dogs, Antonio thought this one to be Aster, licked his hand, making him smile wide and kneel over to pet him. The Spaniard loved dogs, but feared for the well-being of his turtles, should he get one. And of course, his turtles were his first priority.
“E-eh? Wait at your house? I really don’t want to intrude… I could always wait at a café or something… Maybe you could have him give me a call?” Antonio liked being around Ludwig, but he felt more than slightly awkward being alone with him. He’d only ever been around the tall blond when Gilbert, Francis, or Feli were around. “Plus, isn’t Feliciano going to visit as he usually does? I wouldn’t want to bother you guys!”

People say I need to relax.. He shook his head an Ludwig gave a frustrated sigh and hooked his arm with the Spaniards as he began walking to his house. I offered. So your not intruding. An you know how Lazy my bruder gets. Calling him will get a delayed reply. At the mention of Feliciano Ludwig shook his head. "Italia's coming later this month. Besides, he'd love to have more company." Ludwig told the shorter guy. Ludwig hoped he had gotten some sense into the tomato loving idiot.
Ludwig neared the house, dogs following and hostage in hand, he opened the door and made sure Antonio was in before he closed the door. He went and unhooked the leashes from the collars and hung them up on the holders for them on the wall. "Water? Juice?" He offered the other country as he went to get the dogs more water and himself a cold glass of water.
Ludwig wondered what they would do now? Small talk? He didn't think that would go for a good length of time. Ludwig could see the dogs trying to get on the sofa and sniff and get in Tony's personal space. Ludwig sighed. Snap! The dogs got off the sofa and sat down. All three of them looked at Ludwig. Ludwig glanced over at Tony holding the whip in his hands. "Go." He told the dogs, who all went and laid down.
