It was a beautiful afternoon, unfortunately New Zealand didn't have much to do today since his boss felt as if Reuben was being overworked. However, the kiwi couldn't stand having nothing to do, so in all reality he wasn't being overworked, he just occupying himself so that he wouldn't be bored. Instead, he would just have to find something to do now, why not spend some time at the shopping center?
Reuben wasn't much of the shopping type, he'd much prefer playing some type of sport, though everyone he knew seemed a bit busy today. 'Perhaps I could go to the gym rather then walk around the shopping center,'
he thought to himself as he began getting in line for a vending machine. 'I'll get some water first though,' It was a few minutes before the line began to go down, but Reuben didn't make a complaint (though, the couple behind him were not at all quiet about their overreactions to the person in front of the Kiwi taking her sweet time). Eventually he got to the machine, he ordered his water. At the corner of his eye he thought he saw someone familiar, he was quite a ways away from the person but wanted to make sure that he wasn't crazy, so after the island country grabbed his water he began to approach the person that he was beginning to suspect to be Iceland. Many times through so little time as an hour, he had wondered what the heck he was doing in a Shopping center. Well, why was not so much a question; since he did have a reason for coming here - or else he'd never have as much as gotten near it. The place had a small liquorice shop that made the best liquorice he was able to afford. He didn't go there often, because he'd much rather be without the center part, but sometimes he somehow collected the courage to go in there just for that. It was one of the last places on earth he'd dream of visiting. Being stuffed with people, while being big and confusing by itself he could easily get lost - which was the case right now. While being here he often tried to cut as much as the outer world off, avoiding any kind of contact with the many other people.
Not having any luck with finding the exit, he somehow ended up in the food court, where he decided to go get a cola. Maybe to clear his own head a bit, or whatever. He knew it didn't really work, but it was an excuse.. somehow. While standing in the line, Mr. Puffin began to look rather intensely at something. Something that he ignored, until a little while after getting his cola. It was a person the bird had it's interest on. A person that seemed familiar, like he had seen him.. or her, before. A person that seemed to have their attention on them too. A person who was coming right in his direction. He froze on the spot as they already had made eye contact, and it would be really weird just to turn and walk away as fast as he could. So instead he just stayed where he was, and before he could get any thoughts any further the person was right in front of him. "Uh..." While he tried to recall who this was, the bird seem to be much more curious than him. Learning slightly forward from it's spot on his shoulder, to have a closer look.
ooc: No, I'm not going to let Mr. Puffin be a talking bird xD I like it more 'natural' if we can call it that. And don't worry, let's fail together

Reuben immidiately felt a little awkward for not recognizing him, though the kiwi knew who he was, at first he just couldn't place his finger on it. Next the guilt turned into stupidity, how many people walked around with a puffin on their shoulder? It was one of the nordics, Iceland. "Hello," he greeted with his usual friendly smile. "Uh, I'm pretty sure I know you, Iceland?" There weren't many people passing by too closely, none close enough to bother calling the other island nation by his human name.
New Zealand glanced back at the puffin wondering how he got the animal in here. Though it was a bird, nobody would be able to sneek in something large like a ram or a dog, unless the dog was small enough then someone could fit the little creature into a small bag. Nobody seemed to even bother to say anything to Iceland, perhaps they were too shocked that it was a puffin or really just didn't care. "Do you have a day off today?' He finally asked trying to start some type of conversation to avoid an awkward silence. He never really did talk to Iceland that much, but he didn't have anything against him.
OOC: x3 okay~ lol o.o x3 we'll find a way to not fail~
